Morning Gals! First of all, thanks to God for allowing us at Grace to be a blessing to others. Secondly, thank you, Dottie for sharing your awesome testimony on Sunday. I think everyone left there touched, and as I said the blessing for my food on Monday morning, it took a new meaning. It wasn't just "thank you Lord, for this food" it made me think. Thank you for that, it couldn't have been easy for you, but, as I have heard, "there's no testimony without a test."
Now, I don't have pictures, yet. Jeanie, if you will email them to me, I'll get them on the blog.
But, I have a list, (going from the receipt).
We were blessed enough to give the following to the Good Samaritan
72 boxes of Mac and Cheese
108 cans of Ravioli
24 cans Armour premium pork
96 cans vienna sausage
48 cans of tuna
48 cans of potted meat
24 cans of cream of chicken soup
12 cans of applesauce
12 jars of grape jelly
12 jars of peanut butter
24 cans of chicken noodle soup
24 cans of sweet peas
24 cans of field peas and snaps
20 pkgs of hot dogs
6 boxes of crackers
12 boxes of cereal
18 boxes of instant mashed potatoes
24 cans of carrots
24 cans of pork and beans
16 6-pk of ramen noodles
8 boxes of cereal
24 boxes of spaghetti
24 cans of spaghetti sauce with meat
6 5lb boxes of hamburgers
And when we got finished Sister Tina called and said there was a case of food at the Piggly Wiggly. (not sure what was in that.)
Donnie told some people at CEMC, so hopefully, we can get more food over there that way too!!
Thank you Lord, for allowing us to be a blessing. May we always strive to be a blessing to others!!
Have a great Tuesday!!
