Mornin' Ladies!!
I just have to be honest, here. Satan has really been after me lately. I have failed in friendship, and I have failed in my duties as a Christian. I have been struggling with my alone time with God. I used to get up and be able to pray and read and study for 1-2 hrs. Things have changed since school has started, and it's not just getting back into the routine.
I have finally read the whole Bible, and I was very excited about that. But it seems like since then, I can't get into it. I have small devotional times, but it seems like I've failed God in that, because I haven't been as good about it.
But, get thee behind me Satan!!!!!!!!! I heard, somewhere, God isn't as concerned about the quantity as much as the quality. He doesn't care if you read 1 chapter, 1 book or 1 verse. It's about the relationship with him, and I think he had much rather us read 1 verse, meditate on it and apply it to our lives. I had been getting down because it seemed like everything I read in the Bible seemed like something else I'd failed at.
OK, are ya'll ready for this!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!
I have some action steps, I'm gonna try to implement over the next week, and see how it goes.
DAILY GOALS
1. Tell 5 people I love them.
2. Reach out and contact 1 person. (that I don't normally contact)
3. Do something nice for someone for no reason.
4. Tell 1 person about Jesus.
5. Set aside 3 times daily for prayer.
I normally do most of my praying in the morning, (unless I have some specific request, or I know someone is going through something, or someone comes to mind).
I' m gonna try to do these things over the next week, and hopefully, they will become like habits to me. Maybe I can replace some of my stinkin' thinkin' with some good works!!
Care to join me??????
Love you Ladies! (Does that count as 1??? Ha Ha!! LOL!!)

Angie,
I would like to take the time to say Thank you for sharing daily with the Ladies of Grace. It has been an inspiation for me. I think as Christians we all face these types of struggles. As I read todays blog, I would like to take the time to offer some encouragment back to you. :-)
Ephesians 6:10-18
“Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints.” (NIV)
I hope this helps and I hope you have a blessed day! :-)

right there with ya Julie, lets pray for Angie.
Also, Angie, you shouldn't feel like you've failed God, for thru your faith and dedication you have inspired others, mainly myself. I tend to think of things you've posted and apply that as much as I can.
Thank you so much Julie and Tina!! You are true inspirations!
