Mornin' Girls!! I'd like to tell you a story. The Lord has me working on taking every thought captive (2 Cor. 10:6 or 7, I think). It goes a little something like this (or at least what I've been working on). If you have stinking thinking, or negative thoughts, try this -- in your mind count from 1 to 10, and out loud say something like "I can do all things thru Christ Jesus who strengthens me." Ok, when you started talking out loud, your counting stopped, right????? (Don't lie, you know it did!!LOL!!) Sooooooo, yesterday, I put on my Alan Jackson CD, was working in the kitchen, (making bread to be exact) and singing. OK, if you know my house, you'll appreciate this when I tell you that I was singing and had my music LOUD and you could have heard me from the road (this is no exaggeration!!) "I'LL FLY AWAY OL GLORY I'LL FLY AWAY, WHEN I DIE HALLELUJAH BY AND BY, I'LL FLY AWAY!!!!!"
It was at this point, I looked up and saw someone standing at my door on my back porch, and I screamed bloody murder!! I have no idea what they saw me doing, or how long they had been there. They said they knocked, but I didn't hear them. And, guess who it was ------Jehovah's Witnesses!! And, they had to feel a little uncomfortable, I had preaching on TV, and I'll fly away on the radio. I, however was a little embarrassed!! Not because of what I was singing, or what I had on TV, but, If you've ever heard me sing, you understand! (and I wasn't even trying to sound good, I was trying to be LOUD!!!!)
