What's Up Wednesday????

Mornin' Girls! It was awesome to see all of you last night at the Missions meeting! If you weren't able to come, I'll recap a little:

As of yesterday morning our balance in the Missions food drive for the Good Sam was 116.01, but yesterday we got an offering for $400!! Amen!! That brings the grand total to 1072.66 money that we have collected to buy food for those that need it!! We have an awesome, caring church family that I consider myself grateful to be a part of!!

We are going to start taking up names for children for an angel tree. We are going to put it in the bulletin, and if you know of a child, or are in our church family and are in need of help for Christmas, we would be honored to put your kids on our angel tree. (There will be no names involved.) May the Lord bless us to be able to bless those in need! We are to be the hands and feet of Christ, and I feel like we are striving to do what we can!

The Secret Pal Christmas Party is December 7th. You don't have to be a Secret Pal to come. We'd love to have you join us, the only requirement is that you are of the female gender. (Donnie asks me every time I go to the Missions meeting. Is this one of those "all girls things"?)

The Cantata (banana???) is going to be December 13th. (Ok, for all those that attended last night, I spell checked it, and this spelling is right.

The name deadline for the angel tree is Nov. 15th, the gift deadline is Dec. 13th.
