What about it Wednesday????

Mornin' Girls!! I'm a little later than usual. I'd like to tell you about my morning.

If there is EVER a point to get up early and have your quiet time with God, this is it!! I didn't do it this morning, and it ALWAYS happens this way, when I sleep in.

Pretty much uneventful until Austin got up. Donnie got up and out without a hitch. Austin seemed to be moving a little slow, then, she broke the news to me. Her back was hurting. (Donnie's back has been bothering him, and she's taken an interest in that and talking to him about it.) She used it to stay in the bed, saying it hurt to move. Now, she decided it was gonna keep her from eating breakfast. So, I gave her some tylenol, all the while explaining,(she does sleep in very weird positions), and telling her that moving would loosen it up and make it feel better. That didn't make much sense to her so she started whining (She's running dangerously late at this point) So, I get firm, and let her know she needs to get over it and toughen up, eat breakfast and get on with it. All the while I'm telling her this, I'm answering the phone (it's Donnie, and I continued my conversation with Austin, just to let him know how it was going at home, so he didn't add any stress to the equation-----***** He didn't get the hint.) I said "Hello" He says "Do you still have the thing I filled out for that thing?" Ok, honestly, I thought he was kidding me at this point. I said laughingly "Are you serious?" He said "Yeah, I need it" Ok, so this is the way it's going to be. I said "I don't know what you are talking about." Once again he said "You know! The thing I filled out for that thing for the physical thing at the office." To which I replied "You need the thing you filled out?" "No, I need the thing they sent in the mail. The results-- Do you have them, or did you throw them away?" Luckily, I still have them. We are starting off in a bad sitcom kind of way this morning.

I dropped Austin off late (surprise, surprise) then Jackson and I went to the Pig. I had to get a few things and Jackson has been asking for Chocolate Chip pop-tarts. (Last week, when I had them, he wanted chocolate fudge. So I bought chocolate fudge. Now, he wants chocolate chip.) I get him in the car, and he hasn't eaten yet, thinking I can't go wrong with chocolate chip pop-tarts I say as I hand him the pop-tart "Wanna chocolate chip pop-tart?" "NOOOOOOOOO!!" You gotta be kidding me. So, I put it back in the package, and get in the drivers seat, and he starts crying for the pop-tart. I give it to him. Game over.

I did drop off the stuff at Good Sam and go to 2 banks and the post office without an incident. We got home, I said "Jackson, do you want to walk up the steps by yourself?" (This is a big deal for him.) "NOOO!!! I want to walk up the steps all myself!!" Great. You do that.

Why can't we be content with what we have? I guess I should count it all joy.

To which, I have to let you know how I'm feeling with a poem, I got from a devotional this morning.

Confession of a Clutter Bug

Lord, bless this mess-
All of it's mine.
It keeps me in distress
All of the time.
Each item I save,
And think I may need,
Is an outward sign
Of inner greed.
Help me to let go and
Quit keeping everything.
I'm a clutter bug I know,
But You are the King of Kings!
By Your power I ask
For freedom-yes release.
Help me in my task
To let go of things, please?

(by Tina Posey, in Alabama)

Please pray for the play and play practice. Love ya'll!! Have a blessed day!!

Thank you Lord, for my family. I truly love them with all my heart. Without them I would lead a very dull life!!
