Thursday Thoughts

Mornin' Ladies! In everything give thanks for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. -1 Thess. 5:18

Thank God in everything!! Now, we all know we have some hard times, but we can thank him even during those times. (We don't have to thank him for the bad circumstances. But, we can thank him for his presence, for his love, for his faithfulness, for his Word, for our salvation,.......etc.....and the list goes on and on to be thankful to him for.) The Bible doesn't say if you feel like it, or if your circumstances are right, give thanks. We are commanded to give thanks in everything.

I thank the Lord that Jackson is better, his fever broke yesterday. My Grandaddy is not doing good, however. They are getting another Doctor. He is running more tests. I asked Daddy last night if he thought I should come up. He said to do whatever I thought. Mom called this morning and said that Grandaddy and Daddy talked about it and said for me to stay home and take care of Jackson. (This sounds more like a Daddy thing than a Grandaddy thing, if you ask me.) I have also recently learned that Grandmother told Daddy not to pray for them to get better. That's hard. I know they are ready to go home. That's hard too. But, I will pray and ask the Lord what HE wants me to do, and I will thank him for the wonderful Grandparents I have, and the great memories I have with them.

I love ya'll! Give him thanks today!!
