Mornin' Ladies! Thanks for all your prayers for Jackson! He has strep. He does good while he has the motrin in him, but about 1 hr. before it's time to give him another dose, the fever comes back full force.
I hope you all had a great time at the wrapping party last night. Sorry I missed it. (I know you had a great time if you were together!!) Thanks for all who gave gifts! Hopefully, we will make Christmas a little better for some.

Have you ever wanted to say "Woops! The calendar is wrong! Merry Christmas, here's all your presents!" I've been wanting to do that today! We opened some presents from Wanda (Donnie's Mom) last night. She lives in Texas, and had them mailed in. The kids had a great time. Jackson feels so bad, I just want to do something, ya know. He's soooooo sweet when he's sick (not only when he's sick, but when he's sick it tends to break your heart more!)

Ok, go with me here. I am in no way comparing my son to Jesus or me to Mary!! But, can you imagine how Mary felt watching her son die on the cross? She was there! She saw it! It has to be so heartbreaking for a child to die, but like that???? Can you imagine? Jackson only has a small fever, and I want to give him Christmas presents. I was ready to call Santa in for an early delivery. Can you imagine what she wanted to do? I'm sure the Momma in her wanted to kill those responsible. We all know that's not right, but how would you feel if someone did that to your son? I'm sure she wanted to get him down off that cross herself. Wow!! What she must have went through!
